In November 2022 WEF provided a grant of $10,920 to establish the Link Crew program at Weston High School. This program links incoming freshmen with trained upperclass mentors to foster a smooth transition into the high school.
WEF has recognized numerous Weston teachers since 2001 with the David Trigaux Innovation Award, including the Pathways Academy Teacher Team in 2023.
In May 2022 one of Weston’s middle school teams qualified for the Vex Robotics World Championships for the first time. WEF provided initial funding for Robotics programs at WIS, WMS and WHS in 2014 and 2016.
WEF provided $48,750 to help launch an honors-level Science Research Class at WHS in 2018
WEF established two new high school awards in June 2023 to recognize a distinguished graduating senior as well as an outstanding member of the junior class
