WIS Third Grade Field Trip to Kellogg Environmental Center

Using a legacy donation from the Weston Garden Club, WEF funded a new 3rd grade field trip to the Kellogg Environmental Center. The $2,211 grant covered visits from a Center educator to WIS on March 26 and 27, 2025, two field trips to the Center in April 2025 centered around Earth Day, and the cost of transportation. Topics of discussion and learning included bird migration, trash collection, and recycling – topics that are related to the grades 3 and 4 science curricula.
