WEF Funds No Place For Hate Committee Workshop at WMS

WEF provided funding for the creation of the No Place For Hate Committee at WMS. The $1,500 grant, derived from WEF’s Racial Justice Education Fund, covered the costs of the workshop led by the ADL in May 2025 to lay the groundwork for the establishment of the NPFH Committee. The Committee, composed of students, staff and parents, examined issues of bias and bullying and was introduced to information and skills that enabled the creation of an action plan for implementation in the Fall of 2025. Some of the first activities offered were grade-level assemblies led by students, as shown in the photo above.
