This grant funded the purchase of a laser engraver for use by students in technology classes as well as a new laser engraving club. The laser engraver added a 2D engraving tool to the stable of digital and physical equipment available to the students at that time. The intent was to enable students to work with plastics and metals in addition to wood, allowing for various applications in fields such as architecture, electronic circuitry, and design.
